I've been pleasingly busy during my work's production pause. Gotta keep the momentum up so I don't fall back into a slump.

So I've been working on a little something of late. It's a contribution to an artbook "A Votre Sante" and it'll debut@Ycon 2011 XD
It's tough suddenly doing art again, almost feels like being dumped into the deep end of the pool. But with a deadline, it will force me to finish something, even if it's BL'ish hah.

So this is my final assignment ever in the Academy of Art. He ate my soul. I worked on him for almost a month and yet only barely finished him 1 hour before class started. He's the source of my hand cramps and he still needs more work haha ;-;

This may be late news but in February I got a cat of my own!! My first ever ♥ Unfortunately my cats back home in Malaysia don't really count because my mom never let them in the house so they became semi-feral cats ;___; I never had the chance to have a real relationship with Neko and Cobweb.

In other news, this term turned out to be the most interesting one work-wise. I managed to land 2 freelance gigs working in games which is awesome and will help my resume like crazy. A big thanks to Tall Chair and Daniel for the opportunities. And also Carla who is totally awesome and helped me get in on the projects.

The term is gonna end in a week! Freak out. I have 1 creature to finish sculpting in Zbrush and 2 essays to do aughhh. I am 90% going for a trip to Japan in summer too so that is crazy exciting. Gotta pull up a list of shops I want to visit...Swimmer is number one on the list! I've gotten into mori girl fashion too, so I'm hoping to visit some of the shops. I really want to go to Mother, but their clothes are soooo expensive >__

Just found out a lot of my 3d knowledge is outdated thanks to next gen consoles whoo! ;A;/ Though it's mostly my fault, next gens have been out for a while and I was just blind (aka didn't get any next gens and stubbornly clinging to the ps2).
Good news is, I probably just need to learn a new program lawl.
Bad news is, my portfolio is 5 years outdated yayy TAT/

I need to think seriously about getting jobs and where to apply sob. I obviously have studios I wanna work with, but the question is whether I'm good enough for them to want me and go through the trouble of making me a legal immigrant in this country sob.
I don't wanna graduate /tears

I also have to get my ass to the library because I think I chose a topic for a paper that might kill me. I will be writing about the power dynamics and family hierarchy of Asian families /cry
I somehow feel there may be a lot of info on Asian American families, but since I'm not an Asian American, I dunno if I have any right writing on that subject.

I'm destressing by playing Yakuza 3 and its import counterpart (because SEGA decided to cut out the hostess bars but not the bikini bars for some reason in the local release gj SEGA!)
It's pretty fun. And Kiryu sings karaoke surprising well for a yakuza. The hostesses are mostly kinda ugly though sadly. I'm hoping the 4th installment will be better considering they supposedly held a freaking beauty pageant and made the 3d likeness of the winners into the game.
I'm really hoping Goro Majima will survive because he fits the "Favourite male sub character death" curse. He is too cute, in a mad man sort of way (uh..)
Can't wait to unlock the premium adventure mode so I can do stupid crap like substories and dating the ladies.

I've gotten slightly addicted to doing my nails lately...The cute shop at Jtown sells adorable nail stuff and I love the line of nail polish they're carrying (only $4.99 per bottle and glides on like a dream ♥) Of course, heads and hands 2 class almost always destroys my nails T^T I'm turning all weird and girly halp!!

Also I've been wasting time over at nico nico. So far I'm rifling through Tales of the Abyss videos.
